Wiesbaden Wine Festival

On August 11th, we headed to Wiesbaden, Germany (about an hour train ride) to a wine festival. This also marked Kooper's first train ride as she came along for the outing. She was actually very calm..and just got on the train and laid down. Once we arrived at the festival we met up with a bunch of Shaun's friends from work. We had a great time sipping the Weißwein. Most of the wines are from the Rheingau wine district in Germany, most known for its Rieslings, sparkling wines and Pinot Noirs.

At the festival you could buy entire bottles and bring them back to your table! (No, I won't say how many were purchased...but we had a group of about 12 people!). The funniest thing we saw were the pretezels We bought one and it was literally bigger than our heads! It took about 5 of us to eat it.
