The weekend of April 4th - 6th I went to Tenerife, Spain with some girls I work with. I mean...who doesn't need a girls weekend every once in a while?? Tenerife is a Spanish island and is located off the Western Coast of Africa almost directly off the coast of Morocco (I think it is around the same latitude as Orlando, Florida). The resort was the
La Caleta Sheraton courtesy of points earned on my Amsterdam assignment. The resort was awesome..right on the water and had a fantastic pool. There wasn't too much to see on the island so it was the perfect place to get away and not feel obligated to do ANYTHING! We had some great meals, great wine, and even a trip to the spa. The weather was perfect...80 degrees and breezy. As a first - I swam on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. I guess it was a good weekend for me to go away..Shaun was sick as a dog all weekend...
