Happy 4th of July!

So first a foosball update. Germany did indeed succeed in defeating Turkey in the semifinals but then went on to lose against Spain on Sunday evening for the title. While we were sad that Germany did not win they were not the better team that night - so congrats to Spain and her fans.

I completely forgot that it was the 4th of July today! So happy 4th to everyone at home. Obviously, no one celebrates it over here...but wishing we were there to celebrate with everyone else. Our friend April is in town (in Paris this week) and returning to Frankfurt on Sunday evening and we are looking forward to hanging out with her next week. Have a great holiday everyone!
