Shaun and I were totally pumped for the 2008 Summer Olympics. It has been a bit of a viewing nightmare due to the timezone differences - let me explain. The big events were typically broadcast around 9-10am in Beijing. Since the east coast is 12 hours behind Beijing - Baltimore would be watching the events at 9-10pm the previous day. For us it was 4am the day of the event- so we never saw any of the big events live. However, the events were re-broadcast for us each evening so we were at least able to watch them, albeit with German announcers. We were so pumped for Michael Phelps to reach is goal of 8 gold medals. He was amazing to watch (although I am still convinced he may be part dolphin or something) and we had a blast cheering him on. Oh and apparently swimmers are really hot!

Yeah, That's Right
