Oktoberfest - September 27th

The weekend of September 27th we headed down to Munich for Oktoberfest. We spent the day hanging out with my co-workers in tables that had been reserved in the Schottenhamel tent. We love the Schottenhamel tent - it is really crazy, but we always have a good time. This year was quite different from last year as I was done around 6pm (although proud of myself for making 8 hours!) , I was obviously not drinking, and have unfortunately outgrown my dirndl.

The highlight of the day for me was definitely the band..and the chicken. I don't know what it is they do to this chicken before serving...but it is the most delicious thing on earth! For future reference you can order mas glasses of sprite and water (for those who may need non-alcoholic, caffeine-free options). It's hard to believe this is our last Oktoberfest while living here..but it was a blast and I'm so glad we made it down to celebrate!
