The Cold Shoulder

For the first five weeks we were home Morgan slept with Shaun and I in our bed. I had never planned to co sleep with her - but it was the only way we could get any sleep in the first few weeks. She had a few VERY fussy nights in those first weeks. Here is a picture Shaun took of us one day on his way out the door...it's a little fuzzy, but you get the picture. We were clearly having our first fight!By the end of week five I was a nervous wreck that one of us was going to smother her...so we decided it was time to have her sleep in her crib. It was a rough transition last week and still proves to be pretty challenging sometimes, but she is doing great. Of course..she always ends up in bed with me in the morning so that I can get a couple extra hours of sleep after Dad leaves for work!
